Angie Richard
Angie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She holds a BSW from Frostburg State University and an MSW from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work. As the clinical director, she is certified as a clinical supervisor for licensing in the state of Pennsylvania through Temple University.
Angie has career experience in the fields of both mental health and substance abuse treatment. She is well-rounded with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. She has worked with a variety of demographic populations including adolescents 14+, adults, LGBTQIA2S+, adults with Intellectual Disabilities (I.D.), and groups.
Angie believes in the idea of knowledge as power, but only when shared. As a facilitator of EAP and Corporate communication programs, she creates and presents webinars, live trainings, and guest lectures to companies/ groups/professionals on a variety of topics. A dynamic and engaging presenter, she provides real word solutions and down-to-earth conversation as she incorporates 19 years of therapeutic experience with timely topics and a tailor-made approach to your needs.
In her efforts to foster the strengths of clinicians through supervising and mentoring, Angie created the internship program and co-created the mentor program at C-NTA, with the desire to pay forward the wisdom and knowledge she gained from so many.
Angie is trained in a variety of trauma-informed treatments including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy((TF-CBT), and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET). Her approach to providing treatment is rooted in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), respectively.
Angie has proven herself effective in putting together skilled solutions for the treatment/management of anxiety, depression, dual diagnosis (behavioral health & addiction), emotional/physical/sexual abuse, personality disorders, anger management, bipolar disorder and parenting skills.
Dynamic and creative in sessions/trainings, Angie creates an inviting, non-judgmental environment to explore change. She uses an Existential/Humanistic approach by meeting people where they are, and working toward resilience in their everyday lives. She works to show how what once felt impossible is now achievable. This resilience and use of skills allows a freedom for her clients to achieve their goals – at any level – via therapy, consulting, training, and guest lecture.
Perpetually curious and a lifelong learner, Angie is always looking forward to the next adventure, be it travel, crafting, or time spent laughing with those close to her.
Heidi Earhart
Heidi Earhart MA, NCC is a clinical mental health counselor earning licensure as a professional counselor (LPC). As a National Certified Counselor (NCC), she meets national standards for the profession of counseling. Heidi earned her master’s degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She interned with us and we recruited her for the C-NTA team!
Heidi believes in each person’s inborn potential for growth and for creating a fulfilling life – despite difficult circumstances and unmet expectations. Heidi has experience with LGBTQ+ issues and advocacy, and she counsels all adults aged 18 to 118. She focuses on helping clients to discover and expand their natural strengths so they can better manage their struggles. Becoming more resilient helps one get through challenging circumstances, empowering them to grow and even improve their lives along the way.
Her approach is integrated and holistic. She uses evidence-based Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and existential approaches to fit her clients’ goals for counseling.
Heidi works with clients to help them gain awareness of themselves and the nature of their problems through exploring how they view and interact with life and others. Heidi enjoys helping her clients uncover available choices based on new insights and perspectives. Heidi strives to provide a counseling environment free of judgement to support reaching peace with one’s self. She values authenticity, integrity and mindful decision making – in herself and others. Heidi recognizes that trauma of any source can overshadow one’s ability to move forward and she greatly respects those willing to work toward healing. The reason Heidi entered the counseling profession was a desire to help others establish healthier relationships with both themselves and other people.
Away from the office, Heidi especially loves color and texture in art and nature, learning more about everything (but cooking!), and personal growth. She describes herself as a retired registered nurse, advocate, lifelong learner, partner, and mom to an adult son.
Timothy Spory
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Tim has experience in helping with depression, anxiety, anger, relationship issues, family conflict, trauma, and a variety of other difficulties that make life challenging at times. Having worked previously in a community care setting with two mental health agencies, Tim has gained valuable knowledge and experience that he employs to provide quality care to the people he serves. Tim has worked with a variety of age groups including preteens and adolescents (ages 10-17) as well as adults, couples, and families.
Tim’s work is rooted in a family systems model that follows closely the work of Virginia Satir and her model for working with families. Tim uses this model to focus on how individuals, members of families, and couples are coping, and can better cope, with the challenges they face on a day to day basis. Tim is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address trauma and related symptoms.
Tim is skilled at helping individuals, families, and couples to get a clearer picture of issues that they encounter in their relationships and everyday situations. Tim uses his valuable experience in systems work to assist clients with identifying new ways of approaching sensitive and difficult aspects of life and relationships. Tim’s belief that people always cope in the best way they know at any given time allows him to work in a way that validates what is happening in client’s lives, while offering a caring environment to explore new directions for life.
Away from work, Tim enjoys spending his time hiking with family, visiting historical sites, driving his Jeep, watching movies, reading good books, and enjoying good food.
Samantha Inzana
Samantha is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. Samantha attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She attended graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work, where she earned a Master of Social Work degree and a Certificate in Mental Health Treatment. Samantha is trauma- focused and uses evidence-based therapies to assist clients in reaching their goals. She has a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Samantha gained experience in the mental health field working in Adult Partial Hospitalization, where she was initially a Mental Health Worker providing group and individual therapy. From there she worked her way into a supervisory role within the program. Samantha has extensive experience working in telehealth.
Samantha is compassionate, caring, and empathetic as a therapist. She works to develop a relationship with clients to help them in their mental health journey. Samantha has worked with individuals with Depression, Anxiety, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Grief and Loss, Adjustment Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, ADHD, and the LGBTQIA2S+ population.
Outside of work, Samantha enjoys most things pop culture related, swimming, spending time with her family, traveling, being outdoors, and cooking.
Richelle Shriver
Richelle Shriver is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. Richelle earned her Master of Social Work degree and a Certificate of Mental Health Treatment through the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work.
Richelle has a variety of experience including working in Early Intervention, working in schools and homes with children and families in the behavioral health and rehabilitation field, and working as a behavioral health coach with veterans.
Richelle has also worked in the mental health field as a therapist for over 10 years. She has experience working with clients with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and individuals dealing with infertility issues. Richelle uses an eclectic approach to therapy and draws from a variety of evidenced-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness training, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Because each individual has their own unique experiences and stories, Richelle feels that it is most important to meet clients where they are and to work collaboratively to help them reach their therapeutic goals.
Outside of work, Richelle enjoys making alcohol ink art and other crafts, reading, learning new things, and, most importantly spending time with her loved ones.
Kristina Moran
Kris is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. She received her Master of Social Work from Widener University. She has worked extensively with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism prior to joining the therapy team. Kris believes that it is a privilege and honor to join alongside a person on their journey to healing.
Outside of work Kris enjoys reading, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Miranda Simunic
Miranda is an experienced Clinically Licensed Social Worker and Certified Trauma Therapy Practitioner, who utilizes an array of Mental Health Techniques, including, but not limited to: Somatic experiencing, Emotional Freedom Technique, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Inner Child Healing, Mirror Work, Breath Work, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Guided Imagery, along with various Trauma Focused Techniques. Miranda is also skilled in Crisis Intervention, Group Therapy, and Community Outreach. Miranda has had 19 years of hands-on experience in the Mental Health field. While Miranda has worked with clients of all ages who experienced various Mental Health symptoms, she specifically specializes in Trauma, Depression, and Anxiety from ages 10 to 40.
Miranda prides herself in working with clients who have struggled with making progress through traditional psychotherapy and are ready and motivated to make permanent healthy changes to their mind, body, and soul. Miranda helps her clients identify the core root problems creating their unhealthy or stagnant behaviors. Known for her empathetic, eclectic, and creative approach, Miranda creates a safe and nonjudgmental space for her clients to explore and heal themselves. Miranda believes in the inherent resilience of individuals and works collaboratively with clients to empower them on their journey toward recovery and personal growth. Miranda believes a healing journey is an ongoing life process and to promote growth, she provides her clients with healing activities to focus on outside of therapy sessions. Miranda has been featured by the University of Pittsburgh of Social Work for her work.
Away from the office, Miranda enjoys attending workout classes, cards, crafting, hiking, spending time with her friends and family, swimming, taking her dog to agility classes, and traveling. Miranda also considers herself a lifetime student and always seeks to learn new things.
