Jesper P. Nielsen
Jesper is Co-Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Croyle-Nielsen Therapeutic. Jesper has worked for years in executive management and served as Director of Strategic Planning prior to founding Croyle-Nielsen Therapeutic in 2013. Jesper brings a keen understanding of what it takes to run a successful and responsible business and manages the day-to-day operations of Croyle-Nielsen Therapeutic in close cooperation with Amy Nielsen and other members of the executive management team.
In addition to his role as company executive, Jesper is passionate about community building and economic development, donating his time and resources to several organizations and efforts aimed at improving the local communities and bringing jobs to the region.
Most recently Jesper has been busy promoting the Laurel Highlands region to business connections in Europe, building a bridge between this area and companies and organizations from Denmark, resulting in investment in the area and jobs created in the region by Danish companies. Additionally, Jesper’s advocacy and promotion of the region overseas has led to a cooperation agreement being signed between the Commonwealth of PA and the Kingdom of Denmark in the energy and defense sectors.
In addition to his advocacy for the region, Jesper also serves as Chairperson of the Southern Alleghenies Workforce Development Board, Chairperson of Somerset, Inc. Somerset’s main street program, Founding Member and Co-Chair of the Somerset County Suicide Prevention Task Force, Board Member of the Johnstown Area Heritage Association (JAHA), Steering Committee Member of the Together With Veterans Suicide Prevention Initiative in Cambria County, Member of the regional Health and Wellness Committee, Member of the Advisory Committee of the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center, Member of the Industrial Partnership under Johnstown Area Regional Industries (JARI), in addition to contributing his talents to many other community initiatives.
Jesper is also a firm believer in doing his part in developing the future leaders of this region and is involved with the Entrepreneurial Alchemy program at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and serves as a “shark” at the entrepreneurial “shark tank” student pitch competition on campus, in addition to various other work supporting entrepreneurial students locally.
Amy M. (Croyle) Nielsen
Amy is the President of Croyle-Nielsen Therapeutic (C-NTA) and has a background in Social Services and Business Marketing. Amy has worked for years in the social services field, most recently as a Behavioral Specialist, and has an intimate understanding of the importance of providing outstanding therapeutic services and the positive difference excellent mental health therapy can make in a person’s life.
Amy is the niece of the therapy practice founder Dr. Grant Croyle. Upon taking over the practice in 2013 she developed the Behavioral Support Services division of C-NTA in addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the entire organization in close cooperation with husband, Jesper Nielsen. As C-NTA grew and developed Amy’s role changed within the company, however the focus on positive Behavioral Support continues to be a strong theme in how each C-NTA program is developed. From how we match staff to clients and which Residential Homes are purchased, we always are thinking about how we can make people successful from the start! Amy enjoys getting to use her skills and experience providing services to help inform both the individual and employee experience.
Being passionate about ensuring that the area, its residents and businesses thrive, Amy serves on a variety of Community Boards: Vice-Chair of the Johnstown Area Regional Industries (JARI) Executive Commitee, Cambria County Humane Society, Cambria County Suicide Prevention Task Force, and Johnstown Symphony Orchestra Advisory Commitee.
In her free time Amy loves seeing live music, exploring new foods and restaurants, travel, and of course spending time with Jesper and their fur kids!
Loedicia Marguccio
Dicia is a graduate of Indiana University of PA with a Master’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations, and Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Park Management. Dicia is SHRM-CP certified through the Society of Human Resources Management and PHR certified through HRCI. She has over 15 years experience in helping employers and employees successfully work together for the betterment of the business by handling complaints, finding resolutions and offering excellent service in the process. Throughout her life in human resources, she has written numerous policies and handbooks, worked through legal issues, and navigated the Affordable Care Act and implemented benefits across a 200 person company. She has created performance review systems and implemented retention strategies making strategic efforts to maintain employee satisfaction.
In a previous career, Dicia had sales and marketing experience working for a minor league baseball team, concert arena and a hotel and was even a certified wedding planner! In her free time she enjoys shopping, cheering for her kids at all of their activities and being outdoors with her family biking, walking on trails, playing any type of sport in the backyard and sitting around a campfire.
Kelly Roberts
Kelly is a graduate of Duquesne University with a duel major in Accounting and Finance. Kelly has experience in compiling financial statements, budgets, tax returns, payroll, and many other accounting related functions. She works closely with owners, Jesper & Amy, to provide them with reports and tools to help improve the success of C-NTA.
Outside of work, Kelly loves spending time with family and friends, sports, and traveling.
Amanda Harris
Amanda is the Human Resources Coordinator at our Administrative and IDD Services Office. She has been a member of our C-NTA team 2018 from starting as a DSP, moving into the Office Manager role and then promoted to the Human Resources Coordinator.
Amanda assists with employee new hires, training, and benefits.
Amanda is a caring and welcoming individual who genuinely enjoys working with all the people we support. When she is not working, she enjoys days on the boat at the lake, camping and spending time with her two children.
Jennifer Killinger
Jen Killinger has been a member of C-NTA since 2018. Jen began her journey at C-NTA as a Direct Support Professional and quickly moved into the role of a Residential House Manager of three Residential group homes. In 2021 Jen was prmoted to the newly created role of a Residential Coordinator to mentor other House Managers and help with numerous day-to-day tasks of managing the group homes. When the opportunity to challenge herself came about, Jen rose to the occasion and was once again promoted January of 2022 to be the next C-NTA Training Coordinator. As the Training Coordinator, Jen is responsible for all of the New Hire Training as well as all of the company’s annual training efforts. Jen continues to be an asset to the Residential team as she has created a House Manager curriculum to help them become confident of their role and to be the best leaders they can be.
Jen is caring, welcoming and loves working with all the people we support. She brings a joy to each day at C-NTA with her quirky jokes and pranks. She loves to see people smile. When she’s not working, Jen enjoys playing board games, being outside, going to the beach, kayaking, having friends over and entertaining, but most importantly spending time with her two kids and family.
Richard Spaid
Rich began his career working with the ID population with his younger brother. He joined the Marines after high school, and after discharge moved back to Pennsylvania with the goal of continuing to work with the ID population.
Rich worked at the Somerset State Hospital as a Psych Aide and Activity Aide. After leaving the State Hospital, Rich began employment with Development and Behavioral Health Services initially as a Residential Program Worker, and worked his way up through the ranks to a Program Director, Transportation Coordinator, and Training Coordinator.
Rich enjoys his current position at Croyle-Nielsen, and having the best staff and co-workers in the business.
Jenna Brown
Jenna works for Croyle-Nielsen Therapeutic Associates as the Marketing Coordinator. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Jenna enjoys using her creativity to make engaging posts and videos of our staff and individuals. She also enjoys going out and meeting new faces in our community through her networking group, The Laurel Highlands Networking Group. In her free time, Jenna loves to play soccer, travel with her family, go snowboarding, and spend time with her dogs.
Scott Mickle
Scott is the Maintenance Manager for C-NTA. He previously worked as a master machine operator and is thoroughly trained in ISO 9001,SQF and GMP practices as well. His work experience and dedication to varying jobs in the past have prepared him for this job.
With the help of his maintenance team, Scott manages all the maintenance requests of the residences and office buildings. His team is also responsible for preparing our residential buildings for annual State Inspections.
In his free time, Scott enjoys playing guitar and cooking. He also loves spending time with family, especially at the pool in the summertime.
Laura Stiles
Laura loves Werther’s candy, puppies, taking naps, shopping, and wearing cardigans. Her favorite place to vacation is Florida and she enjoys watching murder documentaries.
Luna Nielsen, MC
Luna joined the C-NTA team as Chief Happiness Officer after graduating with honors from Bugg University with a Master of Cuteness (MC) degree in 2020. Although this was Luna’s first full-time job, she is a natural at her new position and loves coming to work every day. Luna takes her job very seriously, working to make people feel comfortable and happy when they visit the office. She spreads a real spirit of fun and joy throughout the office and to the individuals we support. You can always hear laughter and see smiles when she is around! Luna is continually working on improving her job performance by learning new job skills and is happy to report with the help of her team she can sit, shake, fetch, lay down, spin, and more! Luna also enjoys sharing Motivational Monday quotes and pictures on social media to help make people happy and inspire their week. Luna hopes to continue growing her knowledge and working with her team to spread joy.
In her free time she enjoys playing with her two doggy “fur sisters”, going for walks, SNACKS, and snuggling with her family on the couch.
