Meet Our Administrative Team

Amy is the niece of practice founder Dr. Grant Croyle and heads up the Behavioral Support Services division of Croyle-Nielsen Therapeutic in addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the entire organization in close cooperation with Jesper Nielsen.
Amy maintains a small caseload herself, in order to stay connected with our clients and support teams, ensuring that the organization continually anticipates and adapts to their changing needs. “I’m a behavioral specialist, not only by trade, but it is what I am passionate about. I care so deeply about our people and I never want to lose that connection with them”, Amy explains.
Being passionate about ensuring that the area, its residents and businesses thrive, Amy serves a Vice-Chair of the Johnstown Area Regional Industries (JARI) Growth Fund Board. Additionally, Amy serves as a volunteer member the Cambria County Human Rights Committee, tasked with ensuring that the human rights of area residents with intellectual disabilities are protected. “I care deeply about ensuring that the rights of those with disabilities are upheld and protected. This is a population that often is vulnerable to exploitation and abuse who depend on passionate people to advocate on their behalf to help ensuring their well-being, safety and quality of life are being prioritized”, Amy explains.

In addition to his role as company executive, Jesper is also trained as a Behavior Support Specialist and manages a small caseload of clients. “This work is a passion and a calling, which is why I feel it is essential to work directly with those we serve and their support teams. Amy (Nielsen) and I want to work side-by-side with our staff and our clients to ensure that the entire organization works for those we serve and never forget why we do what we do”, Jesper explains.
Jesper serves as a member of the boards of directors of Goodwill of the Southern Alleghenies, Southern Alleghenies Workforce Development Board and the Somerset Lion’s Club. Jesper also serves as leader of the Social Issues Capture Team under the Vision2025 initiative, designed to re-vitalize the greater Johnstown area.
Jesper is also involved with the Entrepreneurial Alchemy program at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and serves as a “shark” at the entrepreneurial “shark tank” student pitch competition on campus.
Jesper is passionate about community and economic development, donating his time and resources to several organizations and efforts aimed at improving the local communities and bringing jobs to the region.
